Healthwatch Enter and Views are not intended to specifically identify safeguarding issues. Local Healthwatch representatives carry out these visits to health and social care services to find out how they are being run and make recommendations where there are areas for improvement.

Andrews Court Care Home
Our role at Healthwatch Blackburn with Darwen is to gather the views of service users, especially those that are hard to reach and seldom heard, to give them the opportunity to
express how they feel about a service regardless of their perceived ability to be able to do so. It is not our role to censor feedback from respondents.
We previously visited Andrews Court in September 2021, and there have been positive changes to the home since then, and the provider, manager and staff are to be recognised
for this.
