The Covid-19 pandemic has been unprecedented and continues to impact people, communities, organisations including NHS health and social care staff.
One of the most impactful defences against Covid-19 is the vaccine roll out programme. We know that not everyone decided to take up the vaccine and statistics show that clusters of unvaccinated people belong to certain groups and communities.
The NHS are keen to understand what might improve their offer in terms of vaccination accessibility and acceptability from members of the public. Feedback from people will help the NHS to understand why certain people or groups decided against the vaccine and whether that was due to personal choice or other factors, if there were any barriers present which made the vaccination programme difficult or inaccessible for people. Lessons learnt can ensure barriers are addressed for future vaccination programmes.
