Healthwatch Blackburn with Darwen are seeking a confident and enthusiastic individual with excellent communication and team work skills to join our team as a Projects Officer.
We give our community a powerful voice to comment on the Health and Care services they receive and affect change locally. You may have seen our team out and about around the borough gaining people’s views and experiences of the Health and Care services they receive, to help inform the priorities and quality of services commissioned by the NHS and local authorities.
As Projects Officer, you will: -
- take lead responsibility for several engagement projects and coordinate project steering groups with partners for each of these projects
- work closely with the other HW BwD team members and volunteers to deliver our annual workplan and gather the views and experiences of people within our borough on health and social care provision.
The ideal candidate will be motivated to work independently as well as part of a small and professional team. You must be passionate about making a difference for local communities and demonstrate an ability to engage using strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
